Overview of Curriculum
A balance of active and quiet activities; individual and group activities; indoor and outdoor activities will be incorporated into all programs at the Centre. Our creative curriculum will promote self-esteem and positive self-image, social interaction, self-expression and communication skills, creative expression and problem-solving skills among children.

Toward this goal, the Centre’s curriculum will draw inspiration from the Italian model of child development referred to as “Reggio Emilia” as well as the Ministry of Education guidelines (developed in conjunction with UNICEF), the Handbook for Pre-School Education developed by the Ministry in conjunction with the Swedish International Development Authority and the Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) programme from Canada. Blending these diverse approaches into one that fits the Ghanaian environment will provide an almost perfect curriculum for training our children to be ready for their academic and social lives in the future.
